ALUO Signs the Creative Pact for Skills Manifesto

In March 2025, the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (UL ALUO) joined the initiative and signed the Creative Pact for Skills manifesto.

This is one of the flagship actions under the Pact for Skills programme launched by the European Commission. Its aim is to support public and private organisations in upskilling and reskilling efforts to help them thrive during the green and digital transitions. The list of signatories is updated [here].

The Pact for Skills—a programme for skills for sustainable competitiveness, social fairness and resilience in Europe—defines key policy priorities and measures that, by further promoting the green and digital transition, aim to boost citizens’ employability and provide them with the skills needed for the workplace. In realising the potential of the EU’s Recovery Plan, the new Skills Agenda builds on the first principle of the European Pillar of Social Rights, which affirms the right to quality and inclusive education, training, and lifelong learning.
